Free NLP Evening
Check our NLP Training Schedule for dates and time.
There are only two conversations going on in this world -- the one you have with yourself and the one you have with someone else. Find out how to improve both of these conversations and improve how you experience work, home -- your life!
Pre-registration is required: In order to ensure a place for everyone who would like to attend, we ask that you call or e-mail us and reserve a spot for yourself and guests.
The purpose of the evening is to provide you with an opportunity to discover some of the power of NLP in understanding yourself and improving your relationships at work and at home.
So What is NLP? NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Neuro is the mind / nervous system and how we as humans 'take in' information. i.e. see, hear, taste, smell and feel (touch or exchange of energy between two people).
Linguistic is how we put language to what we experience. For example, if you think back to this morning when you were getting ready for work, you most likely have a picture in your mind as to what you were seeing, the sounds that you were hearing (the radio or a loved one's voice), etc. This is how you remember what happened this morning, i.e. put language to your experiences. If there was someone else present while you were getting ready, they may well have different pictures, sounds, feelings, etc. of the same event as that is how they put language to their experiences.
Programming. Essentially this means habits. For example, do you know someone who insists on putting the cream in their cup before the coffee (or vice versa) and if you don't, the coffee just doesn’t taste right? This in NLP terms is a program. We have programs (habits) for getting ready in the morning, having conversations with people that we like, having conversations with people that we don't like, being happy, being sad, being energetic, being depressed, etc. These are our own personal programs. We created them and we are the ones who can change them. If you have a program that is not serving you, you need to be able to recognize what you are doing and then do something different. NLP gives you the conscious awareness and tools to do just that.
