IANLP Master Curriculum

NLP practitioner certification is a must prior to beginning a period of training for master practitioners.

Training

• There is a minimum of 130 hours of live training required, including testing. The training sessions must be spread over a period no less than 18 days. An additional out of school training of at least 10 full hours is necessary and the recommended supervision consists of 15 hours of individual or group supervision during this period.
• 80% of the live training must be led by a fellow member trainer, while the other 20% can by led by any other qualified person, but with the supervision of a trainer. Each group of 15 participants or more has to be supervised by a person with NLP master certification or higher.

Abilities
NLP Master Practitioners should have a good grasping of the following concepts and techniques:

• Behavioral competence of all practitioner level skills, used both individually and in combination
  
• Behavioral integration of the presuppositions of NLP
  
• Knowledge of basic skills, abilities, techniques, patterns, methods and concepts of NLP; Personal ability to utilize them competently with self and others.
  
• Design individual interventions (generative and remedial)
  
• Ongoing development of personal sensory accuracy
  
• Ecological change work with self and others
  
• Ability to shift focus from between content and form, and between experience and label
  
• Advanced rapport abilities (build and maintain rapport to each individual in the training group)
  
• Demonstration of the ability to identify the following basic skills, techniques, patterns and concepts of NLP and to utilize these competently with self and with others.

The candidate should prove his or her skills through theoretical lectures, as well as practical demonstrations and group exercises.
Testing
The final written test will emphasize the following contents, on which the candidate should have a high level of knowledge:

• Values and Beliefs (Logical levels)
  
• Systemic work (groups, teams)
  
• Sleight of mouth patterns
  
• Modeling
  
• Metaprograms
  
• Timeline

Each test is designed by a fellow member trainer. The tests should be stored for at least three years after the testing date.
Practical testing
The NLP Master training also includes a period of practical training. This will certify the person's capability in integrating NLP presuppositions and techniques such as sensory awareness, rapport, echological change work with self and others.
The Certificate
The NLP Master certificates contain:

• a statement that the training was held in accordance with IANLP standards
• the original seal of IANLP
• a statement of the duration of the training period
• the exact date of the beginning and end of training
• the name and signature of a fellow IANLP member trainer
• the title NLP-Master IANLP
